Monday: Completed a packet using Time for Kids and the entire magazine.
Tuesday:Completed a packet using Time for Kids on Puerto Rico.
Wednesday:Completed a packet using Time for Kids on Puerto Rico.
Thursday:Library day and silent reading.
Friday: Silent reading. Lesson on time lines interpreting and understanding.

For period:Feb. 25-29Essential learning points: Understand the dynamics of the checks and balances system provided in the Constitution. The Constitution test is March 11.
Monday: Discussed the cabinet posts and I collected the Chief Executive work sheet.
Tuesday:We learned about check and balances in the 3 branches. Students worked on a double sided work sheet on the subject.
Wednesday: All papers were passed back. I collected the checks and balances works sheet. Flash cards 1-22 are due Thursday to be checked.
Thursday: Discussed, reviewed, and checked cards 1-22.
Friday: Reviewed the rights given in the first 10 amendments. Students were given a worksheet to complete. Due Monday.
