History Literacy with Mrs. Bridges: Feb. 19-22

For period:
Monday:No school
Tuesday: All team activity.
Wednesday:Students completed a fact or opinion exercise. Then they began reading a lesson about common structures in Social Studies reading.
Thursday: Complete the questions with the common structures packet.
Friday: Silent Reading. Use Time for Kids and the Early Man article to complete practices.

For period:
Essential learning points: Understand the roles of the President and the responsibility of the Executive Branch employees.
Monday: No school President's Day.
Tuesday:Celebration of African American History performance at Krannert and film in the afternoon.
Wednesday: Discuss the roles of the president. Students continued working on their flash cards.
Thursday:Practice for the test. Complete the "President wears many hats" assignment.
Friday:Work on flash cards and the Executive Branch worksheet due Monday.
