For period:Jan. 14-18Essential learning points:Understand the reasons for developing the Constitution. Learn about the 3 branches of government.
DUE notes:
Monday:Introduction to the Constitution. Students worked on an outlining packet.
Tuesday:Think pair share activity about Shays Rebellion. Students continued working on their packets.
Wednesday:Discussed the various plans that were proposed to create the document/notes. Continued working on the packet.
Thursday:Video clip about the preamble. Read and discuss the preamble.
Friday:View the video about the legislative branch of government, answer questions.
