Adventurers Team Notices:
For period: Oct 29-Nov 2UMS 1st Quarter Grades : First quarter grading has ended. Please converse with your student to discover his/her understanding for the level of performance. UMS grade reports will be delivered through UMS school/family conferences.
UMS Conferences for Student, Parent, & Teacher : Adventurers Team Conferences will be scheduled for after school hours on Thurs Nov 8th and for morning hours on Fri Nov. 9th. Please plan to attend. Conferences should be arranged with each student's eighth period teacher.

DUE notes:
Monday:Discuss the Columbian Exchange-- the transfer of items across the Atlantic.
Tuesday:Read about more details concerning James Town settlement. Students defined 8 vocabulary terms related to colonization.
Wednesday: Returned the quarter exam and went over the answers. Students were assigned to read 108-110 and answer questions 1-4 on Chapter 6.
Thursday: Notes and discussion about life and punishment in the Plymouth Colony. Students are to complete questions in Section 2, 1-5 on the chapter 6 worksheet.
Friday:Students will see a copy of the Mayflower Compact. They will view a DVD that summarizes life in the New World from paleo Indians to the first colonies.
