For period:Sept. 24- 28Essential learning points:Understand the differences between the Indian cultural Regions in the United States.
DUE notes:
Monday:Students are completing research on a cultural region of a Native American group. The research, poster and presentation are all due on Tuesday. This has been completed in groups.
Tuesday:Finishing touches on the oral presentations. Groups present.
Wednesday:Finish any presentations left from Tuesday. Video clips of the Great Indian Nations.
Thursday:Reading and discussion about the foundations of exploration. Notes on the overhead. Read in the text pages 43-46
Friday:Complete notes and discussion from Thursday. Assign vocabulary on Chapter 3 worksheet.
